243 international galleries are gearing up for the 11th edition of the newly expanded Armory show, and the exhibits will range from contemporary works exclusively made for the fair to museum-quality historical presentations.
Kenny Scharf painted a five-paneled 50-foot long mural onsite outside of Pier 94. Carzy Roy-Al, his customized, glittering, smiling golf-cart will also be driven between the piers by a spacman who will occasionally serve donuts.
THe Armory Show opens to the public March 5-8th. The show is devoted to the most important art of the 20th & 21st centuries. The show attracts artists, galleries, collectors, critics and curators from around the world.
