‘Size Matters’ and The Legends of Stick-On Faux Marble and eternal grey dreams’ in a groupshow at AB-Gallery

Rachel de Joode

AB Project is holding a group exhibition of seven young photographers who vary tremendously in style but are nevertheless united by their representation of the human subject through the use of objects. The depiction of the human body by means of its relations to objects serves as a reflection on the human condition. The body is manipulated, covered, penetrated, supplemented and juxtaposed by objects that betray, on the one hand, the vulnerability and mortality of man, but comment, on the other hand, on one's ability to define and even reinvent oneself through objects.
