Gold throughout the ages has always had mythic connotations.
Who hasn’t dreamed of finding gold, a precious symbol of health, wealth and happiness…
Adding amber for its colour, and incense and patchouli for their ritualistic significance and many other ingredients to create the imaginary smell of gold.
The process was by its very nature arbitrary, ruled by the senses.
The result is the romanticization of GOLD.

Gold seqins locked within rock crystal in suspended animation. Gold nuggets found in the mountain stream. Quartz with its thredas of brilliantly cloloured minerals.
Gold as found in its natural and pure state, mythical and magical, but how would it smell?
The journey began with Safraleine, a molecular derivation of saffron and then composed a poem around it, bringing together ingredients of the highest quality such as the essence of Pepperwood and curcuma, the finest coriander, the most luxurious geranium.
