Dear Shaded Viewers,
Antoine Asseraf and I met with Jean-Pierre Blanc, the Director of the Festival d’Hyeres this morning to show him the edit of the 22nd edition of the Festival d’Hyeres.
When I saw the Chambre Syndicale team on bikes I was worried that there wasn’t going to be a fashion bus this season…..I was wrong.
Today was the Paris debut for Manish Arora at Le Grand Hotel and everybody was there. Alas, not Sunny and my seat was great for taking photos of the ceiling but forget the runway. I’ve given Manish the title of the Christian Lacroix of India. London was sad to see him go but Paris was very happy to receive him.
Bless showed in an amazing studio and the PR kept cautioning everyone in the front row to be careful it could be dangerous to watch as the show quickly turned into a rugby match. No one got injured and the clothes looked good.
It was great to have the fashion bus but even better when People’s Revolution, Kelly Cutrone offered to drop us off at the Bernhard Willhelm show. Kelly, you are a star.
Kelly Cutrone, the founder of PeoplesRevolution.
Bernhard Willhelm
It always makes me happy when my friends come into town.
Nicola Formichetti and ….Insidefly.com
Joseph Quartana, Seven and Sonny Vandevelde and Tommy Saleh from the Tribeca Grand
Robin Schulie from Maria Luisa and Ferida of Uslua Airlines.
Take Hirakawa of Le Pli with Sterling’s Mathias Ohrel and Sonny Vandevelde back in Paris.
London friends…Intersection Magazine and Dazed and Confused.
I hopped into a taxi with Dazed and Confused to end the night on a sweet note. I know there are lots of parties tonight but after Stockholm and then Milan, I just wanted to be home. Photos from Sonny will come later.
Tomorrow Rick Owens, Bruno Pieters, Robert Normand, and more from Bernhard and more….
Later,
Diane
