Dear Shaded Viewers,

Kolor unveiles a rare collaboration with Daido Moriyama, revisiting the AW21 collection through the eyes of the legendary Japanese photographer.

‘’It was a great honour to collaborate with Daido Moriyama, a legend for me and many others. I was pleased to see Kolor through his eyes and I hope many people will enjoy this experience.” Kolor’s founder Junichi Abe expressed in the press notes.

Known for his heavily contrasting black and white snapshots of street scenes, the 43 photos shot by Moriyama will be exhibited at 5 Kolor flagship stores in Japan, 2 Onefifteen stores in Taiwan and 10 Corso Como in Seoul Avenuel in Korea.

The project, which is called (a Chinese character meaning photo shooting), was shot at the new Kolor atelier in Tokyo, as both creatives felt the place would best capture the spirit of the brand.

“In any day and age, photography has always been at the forefront of world’s mode” commented Moriyama.

The photographs are also available for viewing at Kolor’s website: https://kolor.jp/
