Ideal Forum and Ideal Showroom Berlin

Dear Shaded Viewers,

I was invited to Berlin by Ideal’s Sumi Ha to screen You Wear it Well, as you have memorized by now, a fashion/video short film festival co-curated by Dino Dinco and I. At the same time it is Berlin Fashion Week and the Ideal Showroom is taking place. Sumi Ha, BEST and founder of Ideal Showroom and Forum, outside of the You Wear it Well screening and a look at my lovely junior suite.

The first person that I saw at the Ideal Showroom was British based accessory designer, Husam ed Odeh. I fell in love with these cut off black loves. I think that I need one for each hand.

Next I stopped over to see Otah, one of the Hyeres Festival guests of Ideal. Further back I saw Ante, Shiori and Sandra Backlund, more Hyeres festival memories.

Outside of Ideal Forum I saw Manfred, the photographer that took the photo for der Standard. On the internet it appeared with a photo of me by Miguel Villalobos, that will always remain a mystery since Manfred took the image for the article and here he is with the proof. Before the nights show, Antoine and I went to the Helmut Newton Foundation, in addition to Helmuts home, wardrobe and wonderful photographs, there was a Larry Clark and Ralph Gibson exhibition. If you are in Berlin, this is a trip worth taking.
