Dear Shaded Viewers,
This is a bit late but I’ll give it to you now, day by day. My first show was Lulu Kennedy’s Fashion East. Fashion East has been the launch pad for designers such as – Blaak, Jonathan Saunders, Emma Cook, House of Jazz, Marios Schwab, Richard Nicoll and London’s beloved Gareth Pugh. This season the star designer among those presented was Louise Goldin with her sexy beaded knitwear.
This was my first show and after meeting up with Robb Young it was fun to run into my London friends and a few of ashadedviewonfashion.com’s correspondents like Martin Webb from Tokyo and Carlos Prada from Milan.

I met Manish Arora this spring when the festival of Hyeres invited an Indian delegation to the South of France. I was delighted by his use of colour and print. Maria Luisa, of the boutique bearing her name in Paris, was wearing a huge smile throughout his show.
Manish is known for his skirts so I decided to show you a few of his dresses and trousers instead.
We went backstage to congratulate Manish and ran into Isabella who had been on the press trip to Delhi that I had missed due to my lack of a visa problem.

There were lots of parties afterwards, but Robb, Carlos and I decided to just go home. On the way I ran into a huge and amazing dog.
Unfortunately the invitation for Todd Lynn’s show never arrived so like I told you earlier, I will see him in Paris and more news on him and his collection later,
Diane
