Shoji Fujii was in Japan these last few weeks and while he was there he visited Toshio Nakanishi, one of the living legends of Japan.
He is a musician and an artist who inspired many other artist and designers. He was in a band PLASTICS (that is the band in JM Basquiat’s movie) MELON, MAJOR FORCE,,,etc
Supporting RAMONES, TALKINGHEADS etc in late 70’s-80’s.
He was taking care of Grace Jones in Tokyo few weeks ago.
Shoji was staying at his old japanese house in the middle of Tokyo.
