When I was in London about ten days ago Kanya Miki came up to me to give me the invite to his showroom. We had met three years ago when I was part of his jury at the Royal Academy of Antwerp.
Kanya cuts all the structure out of his coats so that they feel as comfortable as wearing a bathrobe. His tuxedo jackets are meant to be worn with jeans and I like the cut of his trousers.
On my way home I decided to see the boiler suit that Mark Eley thought I would wear on the gumball rally. Well, I’m not really sure that he actually believed I would wear it so there it is with my name on it in the Maria Luisa window.
