CAMPER SPRING SUMMER 2016 – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Since naming Romain Kremer as its first ever Creative Director last year, the Spanish house of Camper has been dynamized by the Frenchman's talent and strong vision, leading to desirable new styles and forward-thinking collaborations. This season's collection is no expection, underlining Kremer's love of innovation and research, visible in beautifully molded shapes and geometric contours, as well as upbeat accents and unexpected materials, such as printed towelling or colored rubber. One of Camper's trademarks is absolute comfort, resulting in weightless and versatile shoes for both men and women. Reworking sportswear shapes to give them an urban flair, Kremer is pushing the brand into inspiring directions, exploring the possibilities of engineered footwear while retaining his own cheeky sense of humor.

Best,

Philippe
