Dear Shaded Viewers,
A new initiative this edition with Tomorrow Showroom presented at WHITE “An Athlete’s Perspective”. The duo of photographer, Pier Nicola Bruno and stylist Giorgia Cantarini took on the challenge to present athletes in a way that they are not usually seen in competitions. The idea was to portray the intensity, strength, action, concentration and physical challenge athletes endure. It was in fact to show the harmony and precision that the body can overcome when pursuing their minds will.
This project, curated by Alfredo Canducci, offered a deeper insight into the world of Athleisure; one of the fastest growing categories in fashion now that combines sports, lifestyle and fashion trends.
The idea is to create garments that are not only performance driven but at the same time are elegant and practical for everyday life.
The installation which was presented at WHITE Milano during Men’s Fashion Week was also on view at Tomorrow Showroom in Paris.
