Songzio Explores Time and Form in “Polyptych” Campaign

Songzio’s Spring/Summer 2026 campaign, Polyptych, extends the brand’s ongoing collaboration with photographer Cho Giseok. Divided into five chapters — Order, Fragments, Embracing the Past, Tangled Time, and Unfettered Freedom — the campaign explores how fashion can connect tradition and futurism.

Fronted by Seonghwa of Ateez, Polyptych follows a wanderer moving through shifting moments in time. Inspired by fragmented, multi-panelled artworks, Cho’s visuals reinterpret elements of the Korean hanbok and Western armour through asymmetrical structures and reconstruction, embodying Songzio’s longstanding dialogue between heritage and innovation.

Founded in 1993, Songzio is regarded as one of South Korea’s leading avant-garde fashion houses, celebrated for its sculptural tailoring, monochrome aesthetic, and conceptual approach to garment construction. The brand consistently bridges art and fashion through experimental storytelling and cross-disciplinary collaborations.

In this collection, Songzio deconstructs the foundations of traditional garments, reshaping them into abstract, architectural forms. The lineup features oversized tailoring, shirts layered beneath boxy jackets, and flashes of vivid red in an otherwise neutral palette. Billowing trousers fall over leather sandals, while elongated sleeves conceal the model’s hands. Through a surreal lens, the campaign captures the brand’s pursuit of modern expression while preserving the traditions of its cultural past.
