Dear Shaded Viewers,
Gilles Rosier, Éternel Parisien draws perpetual inspiration from the soul of Paris, channeling the city’s timeless allure into every creation. Rosier’s creations defend the city against detractors, celebrating its enduring spirit even as trends come and go. Rather than chasing fleeting fashions, the brand privileges a sense of style and understated elegance—a quiet sophistication that sets it apart.
His distinctive approach infuses each piece with gentle impertinence and insolence, always touched by humor—a perspective that reframes the everyday with playful irreverence. Eternel parisien’s accessories, objects, and garments are crafted in France, Spain, and Italy, with Rosier proudly claiming this heritage and producing limited series at a deliberate, thoughtful pace.
At the heart of his project is the human touch; Rosier creates only when inspiration strikes, guided by the mastery and pride of his artisans. The result is work that not only acknowledges traditional savoir-faire, but also invites a select audience to share in his passion for craft and beauty.
Gilles Rosier, a trained model maker, stylist, scenographer, and respected professor at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD), began his journey at Balmain, then at Dior as Marc Bohan’s assistant, and later as Jean Paul Gaultier’s right hand and director of the creative studio. His own collections have earned the ANDAM Prize, while his creative direction has shaped Lacoste, Kenzo, Van Cleef & Arpels, and L’Oréal.
Today, Gilles Rosier develops éternel parisien as a high-end concept brand—producing accessories, objects, and clothing in Paris for an exclusive clientele, each creation reflecting the eternal soul of the city: bold yet understated, playful and refined, always deeply human.
Later,
Diane
