The Balenciaga | PUMA Collaboration Debuts—A Bold Fusion of Sport and Style

Dear Shaded Viewers,

On June 23rd, 2025, Balenciaga and PUMA launch a collaboration that reimagines the boundaries between high fashion and technical sportswear. Originally previewed in the Balenciaga Winter 25 collection, this partnership brings together the house’s vision and PUMA’s storied athletic heritage, resulting in a range that is as daring as it is wearable.

The campaign, shot by  photographer Ari Versluis—known for his Exactitudes series—captures the essence of the collection through dynamic visuals featuring models Diede, Tianee, Brooks, Yav, and Joe. In a striking juxtaposition, high-energy gabber dance routines are set against the nostalgic soundtrack of Françoise Hardy’s Tous Les Garçons et Les Filles, highlighting the collection’s blend of intensity and elegance.

At the core of the collaboration are reimagined PUMA Speedcat sneakers—most notably the Destroyed Speedcat, which strips away the upper’s structure for a sock-like feel, and a sleek slip-on variant in supple leather. The Balenciaga | PUMA Ballerina merges the Speedcat silhouette with a ballet flat, creating a hybrid slip-on in satin. Apparel offerings include technical sweatsuits with the Balenciaga lion crest, tracksuits featuring archival PUMA details, and innovative outerwear such as a shearling “tracksuit” jacket and a trompe-l’œil suede bathrobe coat. Co-branded graphics adorn hoodies, T-shirts, and shorts, available in a range of fits.

The Balenciaga | PUMA collection is available in select Balenciaga stores worldwide and on balenciaga.com, offering fashion and sneaker enthusiasts a fresh take on the intersection of performance and luxury. This collaboration celebrates  innovation and the evolving language of style.
