Dear Shaded Viewers,
The latest PUCCI campaign, Marmo: A Timeless Convergence, is a testament to this enduring legacy. Led by creative director Camille Miceli, who has been reshaping Pucci’s aesthetic since 2021, the campaign is a vibrant tribute to the brand’s heritage, reimagined for the contemporary era.
Photographed by Drew Vickers and featuring model Bibi Breslin as its muse, the campaign draws inspiration from Marilyn Monroe, a historical fan of Pucci’s iconic prints. Monroe’s charm is reimagined in a modern setting, blending the sophistication of the past with the freshness of the present. The collection showcases Pucci’s iconic Marmo print, originally inspired by the shimmering waters of Capri, now presented in macro versions and palettes across various garments, including draped dresses and resort wear.
The campaign’s retro elements are a strong nod to the 1970s. Shot in a ranch in the California desert, the setting captures a cinematic spirit that evokes both Hollywood glamour and coastal Italian serenity. The hairstyling pays homage to Marilyn Monroe’s signature look, while the makeup is reminiscent of 1990s heroin chic, adding a modern edge to the classic theme.
The collection features fluid silhouettes, bold prints, and accessories like quilted nylon bags and oversized sunglasses.

Diane
