Jonathan Anderson has unveiled his latest accessory for his eponymous brand JW Anderson, adequately dubbed the Loafer Bag. This unique design has already made waves on the runway, appearing in the brand’s previous two fashion shows.
Inspired by the classic penny loafer, the bag incorporates iconic details like the whale-tail penny keeper and a sole-like base. The handle echoes the welt of a shoe, further solidifying the connection between the two. The bags , crafted in Italy come in two sizes: classic and large. The classic size is available in a range of colours and materials, including smooth calf leather and suede, off-white, pecan and black, with a suede version in chocolate brown.
Sticking to a classic colour palette, the Weekender Loafer – the larger size, comes in sleek black leather and rich chocolate suede. Every version of the Loafer Bag features gleaming silver hardware, with the JW Anderson logo subtly embossed on the pullers.
