Blossoming cultural vibrations at Ungaro FW24

A contemplative and visual re-enchantment echoing Spanish symbolism – where passion, drama, and opulence converged into a contemporary couture narrative. Ungaro’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection revived our inner romance, honoring the multifaceted nature of womanhood.

“An obsession for roses – a timeless symbol of love and elegance,” reminisces designer Kobi HalperinThe collection’s essence revolves around the emblematic Salvador Dali’s Meditative Rose painting, depicting a solitary red rose levitating on a luminous blue sky above a desolate landscape. A duality awaken between romantic desire and the human psyche.

From delicate buds to full blooms, floral motifs adorn luxurious fabrics, evoking a sense of divine romance. Petal-inspired silhouettes, intricate floral embroideries, and Spanish lacework infuse each piece with poetic elegance. The collection exudes a sense of grandeur and theatricality – reflecting on the graceful movements of flamenco dancers and matadors.

Accessories accentuate the Spanish-inspired aesthetic, with rose choker necklaces and mantillas – embellished headpieces adding a touch of drama and romance to each ensemble. A mad crush for the white ornate floral veil ideal for grieving the Parisian weather.

“Returning to elegance and embracing the brand heritage,” defines Kobi Halperin’s motto. This season, Ungaro illustrates a personal interpretation of the romantic allure of roses, unfolding a delicate visual bouquet for the senses.
