Dear Shaded Viewers,
“Lady de Weinsanto,” is the 8th collection by Victor Weinsanto, celebrating a powerful and distinctive feminine spirit. The collection is a bold ode to individuality, with black dominating the F/W 2024 lineup, complemented by vibrant pops of acid green, icy violet, and fiery fuchsia.
Accompanied by an orchestral composition from Ugo Nardini, Victor Weinsanto’s latest collection revisits and strengthens the brand’s iconic elements, playing with the contrast between oversized and provocatively sexy silhouettes. Corsetry techniques, dear to Victor, find their way into everyday wear, embellishing items like jeans, skirts, and jackets. The ready-to-wear pieces include draped tops, mini-skirt ensembles, and Supima cotton blouses.
The “Lady” embraces blurry, technical materials such as Sophie Halette’s lace, featured in the season’s print, capes, and veils. A highlight is the black lace “boule” couture dress adorned with Swarovski crystals, casting a mystical allure.
Victor Weinsanto introduces the new XXL strapless bag in Dead stock leather, a monumental piece of art that required over 250 hours of meticulous craftsmanship. The bridal ensemble features a corseted gown by regular collaborator Sarah Miss Boo, enhanced with sculpted plaster drapes by artist Damien Moulierac.
With the F/W 24 collection, as always, Weinsanto pays homage to the women in his life, presenting a dreamlike and intentionally restrained collection as a token of affection and unity, celebrating the enduring connection with the women who inspire him.
