A Sai Ta of ASAI’s triumphant return to the fashion scene after a three-year hiatus was nothing short of electrifying. His creative resurgence, fueled by explorations in art and film during his break, led to a bold departure from convention in his SS24 collection. Ta’s singular focus on weaving fabrics into intricate sculptures and sensuous netting celebrated the body’s allure.

The collection featured standout woven fabric pieces alongside reimagined off-the-shoulder “hot wok” tops and elasticized mesh garments reminiscent of swimwear. Ta’s fearless use of color, from fiery mango to vibrant pinks and purples, embodied a spirit of audacious self-expression.

Inspired by his involvement with the Fashion East talent incubator program, Ta rekindled his creative spark, resulting in an electric collection reflecting his renewed sense of self.
