At the Jespers Workshop in Brussels, artists Audrey Guimard and Lia Rochas-Päris have come together to present “Vestiges de nos échos” (Echoes of our vestiges), an exhibition that offers a glimpse into their creative practices. The exhibition comprises a range of artistic forms including installations, sculptures, collages, artifacts, and suspended silhouettes. These forms come together to create a dialogical narrative that embodies the echoes of their work.
The exhibition space is transformed into a sanctuary, with the materials used by the artists appearing in various states of light and shadow, and taking on a palpable yet intangible quality. The viewers are invited to experience an ecstatic wandering through the exhibition space. Notably, this exhibition marks the first time that Guimard and Rochas-Päris have collaborated at the Jespers Workshop.
