Dear Shaded Viewers,
This next iteration of Fashion Opera #CAPITAL is a tale of dematerialization and symbolism: from the first time someone exchanged a token for an object, or a symbol — a word — for a being in the world — all the way through gold bars and bank notes, or the virtual reality of art — to Web3, avatars and Dragon City itself. It is the story of becoming something else — where everything is always possible.
It will take place in Decentraland, inside a bespoke opera house made by the architect firm Sybarite (SKP) for the metaverse in a world first.
It will feature wearable fashion from Chinese brand CHENPENG who has already begun to explore virtual clothing and released digital collectables during Shanghai Fashion Week.

The second day (on March 29th) might also be of interest. It’s a showcase of digital work from LFW Chinese designer Victor Wong and the brand Formless. It will also include a panel discussion with Chepeng and Feng Chen Wang on dematerialisation in fashion.
