A chat with artist Pierre Barbrel about his photography “Icare flight, fight, freeze”. Pierre Barbrel is a French artist born in 1991.
“My work is the language of the words I miss.” Pierre Barbrel.
His work has been banned on instagram and facebook which was the basis for an exhibition. His work is a mix of fables and reality, the exhibition in point from the fact that he was banned from social media is a statement of our times as unfortunate as that is when AI cannot tell the difference between art and porn.
For this particular work, Barbrel explains the meaning behind the photograph which is an extremely personal experience about subjects that interest him: emotional experiences, life, death, how humans react to different happenings in their lives.
