Dear Shaded Viewers,
Oversized silhouettes of different lengths and proportions took over at Hed Mayner this season. From tailored suiting and enlarged bomber jackets to faux-fur floor length coats, the focus was on the mechanics of the materials. Playing with shape to manipulate the body, the results were impressive. Fabric tones were muted and warm with pieces resembling loved clothing items that had been passed down to younger generations that were still a little too big but could be grown into. Classic pieces pushed to the next level through form.
