Dear Shaded Viewers,

The fashion industry mourns the loss of a fashion genius. There is no other Issey Miyake, we can all be thankful that we experienced him, for those fortunate enough to have shared time with him and for the rest of us that appreciated his art. I remember in the 90’s working for JOYCE MA with the chief editor Fiona Ronaldson always, always wearing Issey Miyake. We filled many pages of the magazine with his creations and I look forward to the continuation of his brand flying the flag for innovation and making us all filled with joy. God Bless him and warm wishes to his family and friends and of course the Issey Miyake team. The fashion industry has lost a giant.

Later,

Diane
