Casual, timeless, and unconventional is Eftychia this season. With a strong focus on oversized tailored shapes and suiting, evolving the classics such as the tuxedo in navy with chocolate brown accents. Masculine forms with female silhouettes that also played into sensuality were the key part of the collection. From a brown velvet dress spliced with silk allowing skin to peep through false openings to an oyster and sour yellow full silk look, that glimmered and created pearlescent flashes with mother of pearl buttons in between dark suiting. The inspiration for this season ‘Unfathomable Lights’ comes from the ocean depths and the bioluminescent organisms that shimmer beneath too attract or repel prey. It felt seductive yet powerful. Controlled yet free. Pared back yet subtlety detailed. Leaving me questioning what lies beneath…
