Dear Shaded Viewers,
Raf Simons presented a strong first Women’s and Men’s Collection in a brick walled industrial space adorned with crystal chandeliers and gold rimmed furniture draped in red cloth. Electric, fetish wear, in black or vibrant colours in slick or slippery textiles, latex, vinyl, wool, velvet, some outerwear textiles looked soft and plush like a teddybear. A point of reference was Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s 1559 painting Netherlandish Proverbs. Wonderful hats were designed by Stephen Jones.
Nothing to do with show notes however I liked the model that looked like Julia Garner who played Anna Delvey in Inventing Anna.
