Dear Shaded Viewers,

For Kim Jones second couture collection for Fendi he took us through Antiquity to the Metaverse. The models appeared as heroines or goddesses dressed in sleek shimmering columns . Some wore short gowns  with hand-painted silhouettes of ancient statues others with pearl or mother of pearl embroidery. Materials like lava and hematite feature in the accessories designed by Delfina Delettrez Fendi. A few looks showcased his immaculate tailoring as the models walked through the sci-fi inspired set with glowing outlines of a Roman temple that was at the crossroads between Antiquity and the Metaverse. IRL the show took place in Paris at the Palais Brogniart.
