Dear Shaded Viewers,

SS 2022 is the most sustainable collection to date for Marine Serre. Serre imagines a future where we change our habits about what we eat, what we wear and in general how we live our lives. The new campaign of Marine Serre is a continuation of the Ostal24 film that was presented last September with images of community living in a remote countryside. Serre’s focus is on a sustainable future where positivity is held in the highest esteem thinking about feminism, body consciousness, hybridity and diversity

The families pictured by Marine Serre seem almost surprised to be captured by the viewer, caught in the act of esoteric rituals first seen as a medium then as an inspiration for us, spectators of sim- ple, yet essential customs. An inspiration, a belief, that through sincere engagement with our primal instincts, we can create a sense of home wherever life takes us.

“I want people to feel the beauty and the simplicity of being together and find- ing joy in cooking, eating, dancing, practicing yoga. And at the same time recognize that every day we make choices that have an impact, so how can we be more respon- sible in the decisions we make?”. Explains the designer.

Her new website is produced by the Parisian creative agency Pe- riod, this digital platform has been inspired by the House’s core values with sustainability, upcycling and diversity at its very heart.

The Spring Summer 2022 collection is available online on MarineSerre.com and in their selected retailers’ stores.
