About five years ago I was on the jury of the Sapporo International Short Film Festival and that is where I had the pleasure to meet Wilson J Tang. It was only a few days in Sapporo but it was an instant friendship and a few years ago Wilson was on the ASVOFF Jury. He made this short film a few weeks ago and I wanted to share it with you and a few words from him.

“I had the distinct pleasure of spending the last 5 weeks learning and creating a short film completely on the #unrealengine4 and #metahumans. It was one of the most rewarding projects of my life primarily because I’ve actually never had a chance to create something just for me….
…so naturally I chose to make a sci-fi/muscial/memory palace inspired by Fantasia and Lalaland and a bit of a teaser to what our AR/VR company Yumebau Inc. will be doing in the future.
A huge thank you to my talented wife Lee (aka Leslie) Fulton for providing the dance animations, Brian Pohl for heading up the fellowship, Kim Libreri for making this possible (and yes, he is right, Unreal is an awesome creative engine), Héctor Alzate , Conrad Sly , Pedro Cardial , Alireza Shafiei for holding down the fort, Paul Furminger for helping out with sound mix, and Philippe Rebours for your cvars. (I hope i didn’t forget anyone here).
Will be posting some concept art soon!”
