IM MEN is a men’s line that offers original clothing designed for everyday life. It reflects the evolution of lifestyles by highlighting the practicality and beauty of functionality.
The IM MEN line builds on the research work done on recycled materials and geometric garment design in the 132 5. ISSEY MIYAKE line since 2010. It incorporates new ideas and experimental processes to create comfortable garments that bring a real sense of pleasure and rediscovery to everyday life.

Collection
The design approach of the collection is closely related to that of the product design, with a focus on practicality and functionality. The garments are easy to wash and care for and can be stored and transported easily. In the choice of materials, the line uses lightweight, wrinkle-free fabrics made from recycled polyester or vegetable-based polyester yarns, mixed with cotton, Japanese paper and other natural materials. Making these fabrics requires a deep understanding and reflection of the characteristics and properties of the materials from which the folding constructions and patterns of the garments are naturally developed.
IM MEN’s research goes beyond practicality and comfort. The line offers garments that are suitable for everyday life, especially in terms of storage and ease of travel. Their design and shape are not just decorative. Their utility and simplicity suggest a sense of beauty in functionality.
FLAT MEN
The garments in this series are completely flat when folded. The concept lends itself to the realisation of very simple cuts. The entire series can be folded and stored in a compact size. The fabric is manufactured in an environmentally friendly production process from a plant-based polyester blend. It is lightweight and wrinkle-free.
