ANDAM Pierre Berge Prize Winner MOSSI https://en.mossi.fr/ presented his collection in the outskirts of Paris where the collection is produced. In addition to being a designer, Mossi also teaches people in the area the techniques of couture.
For this collection Mossi teamed up with textile designer Ryoji Hatsuyama who he met on a trip to japan. The textile designer specialized in working with charcoal dye.
This method allows for a natural shade of black, Mossi’s favorite color. In addition Mossi teamed up with Lee Bae, a South Korean artist who works with charcoal and primary colors. The motifs featured on the shirtdress, the yellow suit and the bomber jacket were achieved by using flex printing. Raw charcoal is at the core of the collection.
