I was delighted to assist at the screening of one of the current documentaries on Martin Margiela. There are two documentaries, one We Margiela is more about what people around Margiela had to say about their experiences there but Margiela is not present in the documentary. There is a second film that Margiela collaborated with that was screened the same day as We Margiela in New York. I have not seen it but I believe it is more about the process and less about the man. After the Guggenheim conference and screening there was a wonderful concert in the amazing Persuade. Persuade remains one of my favourite multi-brand shops in the world. A lot of us did not understand the dialogue but got the spirit of the two Basque singers. After the concert and cocktail we went to the Maison Margiela exhibition and that was followed by a party. Here are a few images to give you a bit of a cyber trip to Bilbao thanks to Persuade.
