Danish fashion brand Ganni has announced its exciting transition from Copenhagen Fashion Week to the prestigious Paris Fashion Week schedule. This strategic move marks a significant milestone for the brand, solidifying its position as a global player in the fashion industry.
Just weeks after announcing the closure of its UK headquarters in favour of a Paris-centric approach, Ganni has revealed its plans to make the French capital a global platform for the brand. New CEO, Laura du Rusquec, who was appointed in May, is based in Paris and will oversee the brand’s operations alongside regional offices in New York and Shanghai. “Ganni has established itself globally, and as we enter our next chapter of growth, showcasing in Paris is a natural evolution for our brand equity and scale.” Says du Rusquec.
Ganni, known for its playful and feminine aesthetic, has garnered a loyal following worldwide since its inception. The brand celebrated its 10 year anniversary this year with an exhibition dedicated to introducing innovative materials, fostering a community of emerging designers, and showcasing its groundbreaking Fabrics of The Future platform. By joining Paris Fashion Week, Ganni aims to further expand its reach and connect with a broader international audience. The move also aligns with the brands ambitions to become a major force in the luxury fashion market.
