Dear Shaded Viewers,
MP5art has produced the first of CHIME ZINE N.1 which continues the Gucci initiative for Change Campaign promoting gender equality. It is a campaign with murals, zines and even a short film. The campaign supports six organizations around the globe, including Equality Now, Global Fund for Women, Ms.Foundation for Women, UN Women, Vital Voices and Women Deliver to fight against gender inequality.
Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele worked hand-in-hand with Italian street artist MP5 to promote the aforementioned notion. Based on the “To Gather Together” theme of the campaign, the artist created murals in her signature bold, monochromatic style of genderless human figures standing side by side. The works are found in places such as London, Hong Kong, New York, Milan and Taiwan and now…a gift box Chime with the Chime Zine N.1 and pencils, a notebook, shopping bag and pins.
