This morning I woke up to a message from @trendo.mx that I was in the new book of Bill Cunningham: On the Street: Five Decades of Iconic Photography

I’ve known Bill Cunningham since my very first fashion show and he attended everyone that followed over the next 13 years. In 2018 I ran into him on the street and asked him what he thought of the documentary, he said he never watched it and had no desire to see it. That surprised me a bit but I guess not really.

He was always curious and the first street photographer on fashion. His blue workers jacket and bicycle helped to give him his iconic image and he was a master of sustainability long before it became a “trend”.
