SEOUL FASHION WEEK SS/15 – RESURRECTION – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

A personal favorite within the Seoul menswear calendar, Resurrection delivered a strong and confident show, using sportswear shapes and innovative fabric combinations, as well as a more laidback approach to tailoring. Juyoung Lee's focus was on mesh, transparency, draping and lightweight pieces, including great outerwear, pleated pants and sleeveless tops. Underlining the dynamism of her clothes, the Seoul-based designer used a monochrome palette, which also included gray, a leitmotiv shade within most Seoul shows. Intricate leather harnesses that were worn under sheer oversize tops kept the designer's faithful fans happy, adding a jolt of sexual electricty to the whole presentation.

Best,

Philippe
