Dear Shaded Viewers,
I was at the Ritz yesterday and could not keep my eyes off of GUCCI across the way in the Place Vendôme. I knew that on July 4th I would have a special tour of the collection and the shop and of course will take you with me. But, for now…here is a look at the interior. Ever active Alessandro Michele has added yet another passion to his overflowing bounty. He is already known for his passion for jewels and his poetic vision, Hortus Deliciarum is the first collection of GUCCI high jewellery and will be sold with other pieces of jewellery from the collection.
Hortus Deliciarum is an echo of Alessandro Michele’s Don Quixote eclectic vision inspired by all the motifs he holds dear symbolising the iconography of GUCCI. There are more than 200 pieces. I’ll tell you more in a few days when I see them for myself.
