The end of an era Francoise Auget closes the best vintage shop in Paris : Ragtime

Dear Shaded Viewers,

All things come to an end and so it was tonight when Ragtime, the most iconic and well respected boutique of vintage clothes owned and directed by Francoise Auget. We have been friends for almost 3 decades and I’ve spent many hours over the years enjoying both her company and all of her treasures as have most of the most well known designers in Paris. This is the last window display. The Ragtime poster faded from the sunlight, I took for her decades ago and she kept it as a blessing till the end. What is left to say but we wish Francoise Auget all the best and she and her treasures live on.

Thank you Lyssa Horn for letting me know today was the last and to pass by for a toast to someone we all love. Pictured above Francoise Auget surrounded by Marco de Rivera and her nephew, Felix.

Later,

Diane
