The fashion and textile designer Aurore Thibout presented a collaboration with the artisan “Katazome” Akasaka Taketoshi, a specialist in Washi paper. The textiles are a mix of silk, woven paper and wood. In 2015 Thibout did a residence at Villa Kujoyama where she learned traditional techniques, weaving processes and printing techniques using plant extracts.
