Fun in the Sun: Katty Xiomara SS18 text by Valerie McPhail

Katty Xiomara’s Spring/Summer 2018 Collection was like an enchanting summer breeze. At the sounds of Michael Magnum’s beats, any stillness in the ocean came to life. Colors of the sunset: electric orange, hot pink, blue and peach dresses effortlessly charmed the crowd. Ruffles danced like flower petals on the trims of dresses, white beach cover-ups became serious statements of outerwear fashion and tent dresses brought waves of style throughout. Designer Katty Xiomara accomplished her brand’s mission to empower women through ultra-feminist clothing, bold in color and print.

The theme of the collection “Parachute Trip”  labeled along dress hems and chest bands. With high spirits, and loud colors, Katty Xiomara takes any concept of women’s fashion into new soaring new heights.
