British footwear designer Nicholas Kirkwood presented its Fall 2017 collection named “Dark Matter”, a collection inspired by the 80’s new wave music scene. The shoes were presented in an installation accompanied by a short film projected on the entire room. The collection has a range of boots, flats, heels and trainers colored in soft greys, dark blues and black. New to this collection were the high-top trainers in white and pink, each with the detail of the signature pearl. The heels were carved into an elaborate curve with a pearl in the middle, while the short heels were covered in pearls all around. The collection featured black glittery fabric as well as velvet, leather and suede.
