Let’s Talk About Peru Young Fashion Designers Working With Alpaca photos by Filip van Zieleghem

On my very short trip to Brussels yesterday for MAD I had the opportunity to visit the Let’s Talk About Peru exhibition. At the initiative of “Magriffe” asbl builds ties with eight young fashion students introducing them to specific techniques to work with alpaca and Pima cotton from Peru. Peru shelters 80% of Alpaga livestock. “YOUNG and Mad” organized by le Mad the exhibition with photographs of the designers work by Belgian photographer Filip van Zieleghem. The winner will have the opportunity to go to the source…Peru. The eight designers: Jimmy Boulanger, Caroline Bodeux, Brigitte Cheter, Natacha Ciampitti, Coline Firket, Eva Hermann, Pauline Jeanne and Beatrice Vermeulen.
