HUBER EGLOFF – FW16 – FILM BY LEO HADDAD & ALEXANDRE SILBERSTEIN – TEXT BY GERALDINE POSTEL

Dear Shaded Viewers,

HUBER EGLOFF is the brand of the two friends and partners, Andreas Huber and Raúl Egloff Alcaide, founded in Zurich Switzerland in 2013. The strong sensuality of their work, the innovative cuts, the high quality fabrics, and creative looks is always a good surprise. Wearable and challenging aesthetic combines inventive creation with highest comfort.

This season’s Huber Egloff  is all about the actual need to explore and experience our global diversity. The inspiration was Albert Kahn’s enigmatic work “The Archives of the Planet”. As  for them, his idea to cultivate humanity with travelling and documenting our multifaceted cultures is of vital importance. The FW collection reflects the curiosity and the diversity of all different ways to travel today, from the globetrotter and the cosmopolitan woman.

Elements of street and subculture give contrast to authentic refined tailored coats and blazers.  Youth culture aesthetic meets biker grunge gang on tour. Dark floral silk blouses and pleated lurex cotton to embroidered and circular print dresses are combined with hoodies, cardigans and knitwear. Windbreakers and raincoats blend grey over lucent copper, saffron yellow and dark rust to bright indigo and black…

To illustrate the diversity of the collection and its colorful and dark punch for the Winter, discover the film by Leo Haddad and Alexandre Silberstein on their latest presentation.

More later, Géraldine
