When visiting the Mira Mikati autumn/winter 2016 presentation you enter a world of cartoon characters and patchworks bursting with joyful comic accents. A big bounce house full of scrabbled cartoon figures, writings and vibrant colours was a big presence in the showroom, the garments were displayed on the racks and joined the colourfulness of that big bounce house. The collection of Mira Mikati exist of padded duvet jackets, trench coats, denim and jersey tops, all like they were coming alive from the pages of a children’s book. Bold slogans, letters and words together with lego printed garments, were key elements of the collection and the experience of the event.
