ASVOFF 8 gave a carte blanche to this year's President, Jean Paul Gaultier. The journalist Marie Colmant, discussed Jean Paul Gaultier's work with several director'ssuch as Pedro Almodovar, Marc Caro, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Peter Greenaway, Luc Besson, etc. The conversation was followed by a projection of "Jean Paul Gaultier Travaille" by Loic Prigent in collaboration with Arte.
