PaleyFest: “Transparent” (October 19)

Monday night, I was at the Paley Center for Media for the television series "Transparent" event at PaleyFest NY.

The series resolves around a family who's father discovers he wants to be transgender.

The lead actor, Jeffrey Tambor and show creator, Jill Soloway both have won Emmy Awards for the series.

The evening began with a screening of an upcoming episode of the show.

After the screening, the show's creator Jill Soloway was joined by cast members Jeffrey Tambor, Judith Light, Amy Landecker, Jay Duplass & Gaby Hoffmann for a discussion and Q&A session with the audience.

I had never seen the show previously – although, I've certainly heard enough about it and I liked what I saw.

I may have to tune in to catch future episodes.
