NYFF: “Experimenter” (October 6)

Tuesday night, I was at the New York Film Festival for a screening of director Michael Almereyda's new film "Experimenter".

The story is about Stanley Milgram who created an experiment in 1961 that tested ordinary people's willingness to obey authority.

I really liked the film a lot.

Both the filmmaking and actor Peter Sarsgaard's performance as Stanley Milgram were terrific.

After the screening, the director Michael Almereyda, actor Peter Sarsgaard and actress Winona Ryder participated in a discussion and Q&A session with the audience.
