Mercado de Pulgas – Buenos Aires

Dear Shaded Viewers,

A few memories from my 48 hours in Buenos Aires. The photo above the sculpture of the bull is Ferdinando Ciraudo, the Buenos Aires sound stylist, aka the Michel Gaubert of BA and the reason I was invited to Buenos Aires. We met 7 years ago on the metro in Paris after the Kris Van Assche show. He was with a group of Argentinan male models. We had a little chat and I told him how I'd always dreamed to go to Buenos Aires, 10 days ago he asked me if I still wanted to go to Buenos Aires, I said yes, he did the sound design for about 25 of the BAFWEEK fashion shows. The photos are of my visit to San Telmo, the market Mercado de Pulgas, the tulip in Recoleta, my hotel Intercontinental Buenos Aires, the view from my room, Sotto Voce an italian restaurant in Recoleta, ends with a picture at the port and a night view from my hotel…

A few more coming.

Later,

Diane
