Together They Contributed over $ 440,000 in just 35 days! A truly unexpected blessing and thanks to them we are sure to make it Through the shooting phase here in Santiago. Today we are launching new campaign because even though we'll Have all the footage … we need an extra financial boost in order to make the post-production , starting esta September in Paris, France Where Alejandro lives. "We chose to adventure boldly and whole-heartedly into what Could be Jodorowsky's last legacy to art-house cinema, and DESPITE the financial hardship, we are glad we did. Had Waited Until We Were we completely funded to start working … we probably would never Have Begun! The past 4 months Have PROVED us right: this movie is worth it . It will go down in History, just as all of Alejandro's films unavailable before, and we want you to be a part of it.
Post-production costs are extremely high. The work done in that stage requires high-tech equipment as well as the accuracy, taste, and technical expertise of over 15 different people for 6 whole months We are setting our goal at $ 150,000 dollars , Which is the bare minimum we can hope to collect in order to launch our post-production … Our entire post-production budget is $ 600,000 so every dollar we Receive above our goal is going straight to better software, better technicians, better work conditions and ultimately from the best movie we could've ever dreamed up! The money is running out fast, there is enough to get through the editing but not the color correction, the sound design, the dubbing, etc. etc.
ENDLESS POETRY portrays Alejandro Jodorowsky's young adulthood, Set in the 1940s and 50s, in the Electric Capital city of Santiago.That was when he decided to become a poet and was introduced to his desting. He met Enrique Lihn, Stella Diaz Varin, Nicanor Parra and many of the countrys young and promising and unknown artist who would later become the titans of Latin America's literature.
ENDLESS POETRY is a tale of poetic experimentation; the story of a unique youth That lived as not many before them HAD Dared: sensually, authentically, freely, madly.
