FILM SYNOPSIS: A young woman, distraught and withdrawn and depressed in life, becomes drawn into a Tamagatchi like game that has seemingly magically appeared on her phone. The more she loves and cares for the digital creature in the game, the more with drawn she becomes, her digital existance displacing her real life emotional potential. Then she meets a man who saves her…or does he?

DIRECTOR’S BIO: Jacob Brown grew up on a farm south of Atlanta, GA, attended Cornell University to study physics, and upon graduation moved to Manhattan where for the past eight years he has worked as a culture writer and fashion editor. He is a regular contributor at American Vogue and Interview Magazine, and the editor-in-chief of BlackBook. Over the last few years he began transitioning from the creative direction of magazine photo shoots into experimental and short form narrative film directing. JacobJosefAimee, due out next year, will be his first feature length narrative work.
